What is the nearest airport?
DFW Airport is the closest major international airport, located about 100 miles south of Bucks & Ducks Hunting Lodge. Wichita Falls Municipal Airport is located within an hour of the Lodge, and is served by American Eagle. Small general aviation airports are located in both Bowie and Nocona, within half an hour of The Lodge.
Do you offer transportation from the airports - or to hunting lands?
Yes - we'll provide transportation from the airport to the Lodge for the cost of the driver and fuel. Call for pricing. We also provide transportation for our hunters between The Lodge and our numerous hunting lands.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes - we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover card, and American Express.
Is the Lodge available for booking special events or just in conjunction with hunting?
We welcome opportunities to offer the Lodge for both special events as well as hunting events. Whether you come only for the day - or stay for a week!
How many people can you accommodate?
The Lodge can sleep thirty people comfortably, and we can feed more than that if you have a large party.
Do you allow alcoholic beverages at The Lodge?
Yes - although alcohol is not available for purchase at The Lodge, it is allowed on premises if registered guests wish to provide it for themselves. However, alcohol is strictly prohibited on all hunting lands, both prior to and during hunting, target practice, skeet shooting, and all other activities involving the use of firearms.
What is included in the Lodging / Meal Package?
Overnight accommodations; Meals (continental breakfast, lunch, snacks throughout the day, dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages); Transportation to and from the hunting location. The Package does not include tips for Lodge service personnel, tips for the hunting guide, ammunition, or a hunting license. We do not charge trophy fees.
What venues of hunting do you provide?
We provide ground blinds, tower stands, tripod stands, spot & stalk, and bay dogs upon request.
Do you allow bow hunters, cross-bow hunters, and black powder hunters?
Yes - we do ask, however, that for bow hunting you use fixed blade broad heads which have a higher success rate of penetration.
Is a hunting or fishing license required - and where can they be obtained?
A Texas hunting license is required to hunt all native game birds and all native wildlife with the exception of "nuisance fur-bearing animals, depredating hogs or coyotes." A fishing license is not required for fishing within The Ranch on our numerous ponds.

Texas hunting licenses can be purchased at either Walmart in Bowie (located at 8420 US Hwy 287N) - or at Ace Hardware in Nocona (located at 310 w Hwy 82).
Are kids allowed? Are non-hunters or observers allowed?
Yes - we encourage you to bring your children to participate. We always stress safety and responsible gun ownership, sound hunting ethics, and protection of natural resources; in fact, we often host Youth Hunting events!
Ask for our non-hunter fee of $150, which covers their meal and lodging.
What about non-hunter groups?
We offer the outdoors experience for other group activities, including Photo Safaris, Wildlife Viewing, and Shed Hunting.

Are taxidermy and meat processing services available?
Yes - we can refer you to a local taxidermist and we have a local meat processor on call for immediate availability.
