The Lodge provides a very comfortable and "homey" place to stay, whether for large groups or just a few friends. Comfortable ultra-suede couches provide relaxing enjoyment in front of the beautiful rock fireplace and our 52" LCD television. Satellite internet and DISH network channels provide numerous options for entertainment.
You'll find all the comforts of home here at The Lodge. Our gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless-steel Kenmore Elite appliances: a large double oven, an oversized microwave, and a large French-door refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher.
The kitchen is complete with three stainless-steel sinks and a large amount of counter space. We have two coffee pots and a 4-slice toaster for our guests to use, and all dinnerware, tableware, linens, pots & pans, spices, staples and coffee are also provided.
An outdoor BBQ grill is also available for those guests wanting to create a genuine Texas cookout experience - or we also offer a complete meal plan if cooking is "not your thing", featuring the famous "Bucks & Ducks Petite Tender" steak dinner.
Our dining area adjoins the living area in this open and spacious setting. Three large tables comfortably seat twenty-four folks, and seating for an additional nine people are available at the bar, making the kitchen the center of activity ... or enjoy the outdoors on our large open-air covered porch, complete with ceiling fans and lots of rocking chairs.
Your comfort at the end of a long day is our goal, so all out beds are specially made at the factory to be longer than typical beds, at 6 1/2 feet long. Some of our heavy-duty bed frames make into trundle beds, so we can comfortably sleep thirty individuals.
The Lodge can easily accommodate a large number of overnight guests, as our spacious bathrooms provide excellent privacy and convenience, with all linens and towels furnished. The Lodge has four bathrooms with four showers and six wash basins. In addition, we offer our guests a two-basin outdoor wash area, so that they can clean up and wash off their gear after a day in the field.
The Lodge also comes equipped with a high capacity, front-loading LG washer and dryer, so that you can keep your checked luggage to a minimum without sacrificing clean clothes.
